March 2023 – onwards

2023-03-16 11:41:29

March 2023 brings us significant, and substantial long term changes, with both the ingress of Saturn into Pisces on the 7th , and Pluto into Aquarius on the 23rd.

Astrologically these two are big players.

Saturn represents our collective karma and how we structure our world, whilst Pluto represents our collective unconscious, and those things requiring transformation.

Saturn’s move into Pisces on the 7th begins a fascinating two year process of bringing structure to the etheric, the spiritual, and that which cannot be seen. Pisces is a water sign, at his highest he is compassionate, empathic and at one with the cosmic flow. The sign of the saviour.

But Pisces contains two fishes, both swimming in opposite directions….

For some, that Piscean openness and vulnerability can be too much to bear, at which point we flip and become the other fish, the victim, the drug addict, the looser.

Neptunes passage through his home sign of Pisces since 2005 has bought an explosion of interest in the beyond.. spirituality, astrology, and meditation techniques abound.

Saturn during his passage through Pisces is asking us to ground and build on these new perceptions.

This is a time when we can expand the boundaries of what we comprehend, and of what is actually possible.

This includes a greater understanding of the power of consciousness itself; of our emotions; of vibration, of intention, affirmation, of how we magnetize and attract (both positive and negative). The work of the great Dr Emoto comes to mind, physically mapping our emotions.

Areas such as harmonics, and vibrational energetics hold massive unseen potential, with the potential to revolutionise things as diverse as building, medicine and space or even time travel.

Neptune rules the ocean, deep, vast and powerful, impossible to contain or control, yet that is Saturn’s and our task, to find structure and safety whilst enlarging our boundaries exponentially within this changeable flow of powerful forces.

Excitingly, the Equinox this year, is within hours of the new moon in Aries conjunct Mercury. What this means practically, is that the Sun and the Moon both move into the sign of Aries together. Many astrologers will make an equinox chart to map the energy of the next quarter as a type of cosmic and energetic birth.

Zero degrees Aries, marks the Vernal Equinox. A powerful new start point in itself, and the new moon at this degree and time really emphasises what Pluto and Saturn are already telling us.

That there is a new start this year. A new opportunity for humanity, affecting both our emotions, (the Moon), how we think and communicate, (Mercury) and our soul direction, (the Sun).

And there is assistance….

In the form of Jupiter, Chiron, Vesta and Eris, also in Aries at this time.

Let’s pick that apart a bit.

Jupiter represents our beliefs, our understandings… When he comes along, he opens us up to new potentials, expanding all he touches, whilst Chiron the wounded healer demands we examine and heal our pain. Together in Aries, they ask us to re-examine our beliefs around war, conflict and our individual and collective ways forward.

Interestingly the feminine is also strongly represented by Vesta, Goddess of the hearth fires, and Eris, the female warrior, both also expanded by Jupiter.

Vesta, in her original aspect was a symbol of the hearth fire, symbolising home, safety and protection. She represents the original sacred contract between the state and the people.

However, in Roman times she was demoted to being a mere “Vestal Virgin” valued only for her sexual purity.

Therefore her wound is the alienation that comes from subverting of our natural instincts and what we know to be right.

Eris is the newly discovered female warrior spirit. In her wounded aspect she brings chaos, in her higher…. she is on a soul mission to fight for truth justice and clarity.

Together with Jupiter in the warrior sign, they invite us to bring a more feminine perspective to our beliefs about war, conflict and also the role the Government plays in the lives of the people.

Then on the 23rd , Pluto moves into Aquarius, beginning a two year transition, where he will then stay for the next 20 years.

When one of the large players, like Pluto enters a new sign, it is often marked by a dramatic energetic shift. For example, his move into Capricorn in 2008, heralded the collapse of the banking system, (Capricorn being the sign of big business).

Key words for Pluto are death, transformation and rebirth. Pluto represents the underworld, power and it’s abuses. When he comes into our lives, he exposes the dark underbelly, the depths of pain and depravity, and the requirement for us to transform that darkness into empowerment and strength.

Pluto’s journey into Aquarius represents therefore, yet another task in our journey into the new age.

Here, he will bring up issues of power and power over; especially in the arenas of humanitarian issues, human rights, equality and justice. Where any injustices will become apparent.

Aquarius is the sign of the collective, the people, Pluto the planet of power.

Now is time for us to come together and take our power, with how we achieve that, still very much up for grabs.

Past transits of Pluto through Aquarius bought us the French, and the American revolution. Both were uprisings of the people against their oppressors: but neither happened at the beginning of this transit. It took time for the collective to wake up to the need for change…

And so begins a very interesting period, between 2023 and 2025, as Pluto transitions between Capricorn and Aquarius, dipping in and out of this new energetic. March to June this year is our first taster, and how we respond critical.

As Pluto enters Aquarius, he is squared by the Nodes, the North node representing our Karmic way forward and achievement, and the South Node, representing our past, and that which we are ready to release.

This is the energetic of power over and challenge, with the Nodes representing the people and their Karmic choice, and to be honest with a square it can go either way.

There is no doubt that vested power interests will make a power grab. Attempting to control, coerce and manipulate the people,(Aquarius) into a new power system, (Pluto) likely based on Uranian references and technology.

And the people may choose this.

However, every time we go through the transition into a New age, roughly every 2,200 years, we are given the opportunity to reset, remember our potential, and step into the new, the as yet unconsidered and unexplored…

And this is where we stand today…..

On the very bring of transformation….

Simplistically put, we can be either excited by the Wimm Hoff method and terrified by sky link, or visa versa….

Neptunes transition through Pisces since 2011 has given us an enormously vast, and often spiritual perspective….About to be grounded by Saturn.

Together they stay in Pisces until 2025, when they move into Aries, passing the vernal equinox, that magical start point, almost together….

The very same year Pluto finally gives up Capricorn and moves decisively into Aquarius…

And Uranus ruler of the new age makes harmonious trine with Pluto… An enormously exciting time… More on that to come…

Basically this March, Pluto’s first dip into Aquarius will herald the beginning of the transformation of the very fabric of our lives, as Pluto travels through, and empowers the sign of our new age.

Expect transformative empowering technologies, space travel, even time travel, alien contact and much much more… as we head into the age of the higher mind, the far out, and enlightenment….

But the next two years are crucial, and this month the beginning of a massive transition.

A new phase a new challenge, bringing exciting new potentials for all…

March 2023
